Teleangé Thomas is an economic opportunity champion, social impact entrepreneur, business strategist and philanthropist with more than 20 years of leadership experience across healthcare, government, nonprofit, corporate, philanthropy, venture, and economic development. She is known for advancing sustainable social and economic opportunities through strategic partnerships,
entrepreneurship, and inclusive leadership. Over the course of her career, Thomas has raised more than $100 million in public, private, and philanthropic capital; launched and scaled startups and public-private partnerships; and helped organizations deliver measurable community and economic impact. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of PLATTFORMS, where she advises small businesses, launches ventures, and helps organizations strengthen strategy and impact. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating and Relationship Officer at JumpStart Inc., where she oversaw $150 million in assets and supported entrepreneurs with capital, connections, and resources. Thomas has co-founded several civic and entrepreneurial initiatives, including The Soul of Philanthropy Cleveland, Cleveland Black Equity & Humanity Fund and FutureLAND. Her honors include Leadership Cleveland, ECDI Women’s Business Centers of Ohio Woman of the Year, and Crain’s Woman of Note. She serves on the boards of Cleveland Port Authority and Policy Matters Ohio. She is an Alliance, Ohio native and graduate of Case Western Reserve University. |
